I am a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and digital artist with a Masters degree in Graphic design from University of Edinburgh. I run Wizlemon Studio, my graphic design business, located in Edinburgh. I have more than 20 years of experience of working in design particularly around humanitarian issues.
My strong connection to Scotland started 7 years ago and I continue to explore many aspects of this through my art. This has included a sense of ‘here and there’; a questioning of generational traditions in both Lebanon and Scotland; likewise a sensibility of cultural taboos.
The process of my work includes hand-drawn illustration, mixed media, photography, typography, calligraphy and traditional art techniques, often drawing from local influences, cultures and languages.
My art is finished by high quality giclée print on fine art paper with a collection of cards.
I also offer a diverse range of graphic design services, please check below.
I am currently a self-employed Graphic Art Designer of 20 years’ standing. During these years, I gained extensive experience working with international organizations and NGOs such as World Bank and United Nations in different continents and on a wide range of humanitarian projects.
