Amad is a British Lebanese artist, graphic designer, and illustrator, based in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he earned his Master's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Edinburgh.

His strong connection with Scotland began eight years ago. During this time, he has undertaken art projects exploring themes such as cultural identity, immigration, and mental health amongst others. He is continually exploring different aspects of these issues through my art, which often involves senses of connection and diversity. This journey has led him to question generational traditions in both Lebanon and Scotland, as well as approach cultural taboos with curiosity and sensitivity.

His artwork draws substantial influence from his graphic design background, evident in the presence of patterns, geometric forms, typography, and a vibrant palette of attractive colours. His creative process encompasses a range of techniques, including hand-drawn illustration, mixed media, collage, typography, and traditional art methods.

In addition to his artistic pursuits, he also manage Wizlemon Studio, his graphic design business based in Edinburgh. For more, please check below.
